Today, so far...

The snow forecast that I scoffed at yesterday...guess who's not laughing now? Well, not me, and definitely not the people who just ran into our neighbours house! Just because it was beautiful and sunny yesterday doesn't mean that when it's hailing and snowing today, you can drive like you did yesterday!

Lucy's little friend got the 12 hour flu last night...please pray for him. Lucy started with it tonight around 4 PM. Blueberries and formula in, blueberries and formula out! A quick bath...still finding blueberry seeds in neck fold. Nice.

So after making phone calls to say Prayer Meeting is canceled and that Glen Weeks will be at our Evangelism Clinic tomorrow night, Scott went to get some Pedialyte. Pedialyte in...some pedialyte out. Still a happy little Lucy though! She's in her third pair of pyjamas, chilling in her high chair watching me, and chatting away. I've been through a couple different outfits today as well...the washer is going as we speak.

Tomorrow morning is supposed to be our longed for and anticipated ultrasound! If this flu lasts 12 hours though, what shall we do? Mum said she might be able to come take care of Lucy while we go. Scott is hoping for school cancellation tomorrow, a snow day in fact. :)

Tomorrow night, some of our friends are coming overnight! We are beyond thrilled! I pray Lucy is better and can't pass her bug along by then.  It's all in the Lord's hands, as always.

I think our couch may be permanently stained purple, in one area. Thanks grape-flavoured pedialyte! :)

Scott is making a delicious-smelling supper including: pita bread, chicken strips (non-breaded), back bacon, red peppers, black olives, cheese, and some tasty sauce. With Cadbury creme eggs and Eggies for dessert. Best husband in the world! Off I go now, to enjoy. :)

Awww I heard about Carter, and I pray Lucy starts feeling better soon too! Flu is not fun =(. I pray all goes well with your Ultrasound tomorrow! SO exciting to see the little one again =) Wish I could keep an eye on mine all the time, but I guess in 3 months I'll be able to! Thanks for sharing!

Laura~Thanks for the prayers! Poor Carter, and so sad for Vanessa and Brad! And soon enough, you'll be keeping a close eye on your baby all the time...and I mean, all the time! :)
Jess~The snow is crazy! Who would have thought, eh? Haha! And we hope Lucy gets over this flu soon too, though she's coping quite well. :)

Charity has it now- just came down with it early this evening. I'm thinking the kids were sharing more than just toys yesterday in the nursery....hehe. Looks like I'm going to miss the services tomorrow. She's sleeping now, but we'll see what happens through the night. So hard to see our little ones sick! :(

Oh, I'm sorry to hear it, Leah! I hope she didn't catch it from Lucy. I was sure wasn't contagious! The Lord knows and has His reasons. It sure is hard to see the wee ones sick though. Carter is doing better now, as of today. Lucy has her cough and runny nose back and it's been weeks so I think a visit to the dr will be on the agenda this week. Maybe she has allergies?

Well, it's been going around our church for a few weeks. I thought we might escape it. :) She is better this morning, and slept all night so it looks like just a mild case of it. Still going to keep her home though. :(
