doesn't Lucy look SO sick?! (sarcasm) |
We've had an interesting last couple of days...interesting could be "code word" for tiring. :)
On Sunday night, Dr. O kindly brought her Dr bag to church...Lucy is officially scared of stethoscopes. Great!
Dr. O said Lucy should have been given antibiotics when we were at the hospital on Wednesday when they "might" have seen something in her lung.
Yesterday morning, Becky got us into our family doctor! What a great pal. He confirmed that he could hear something in the lower part of one of Lucy's lungs. We got to visit with Tayo in the waiting room though!
So down we went to get Lucy's antibiotics. They added grape flavouring. Cool, eh? Lucy is thankful
.
Lucy gets to keep down the gritty purple antibiotics twice a day and is on Tylenol until tonight. The Tylenol makes her loopy, she loves it. She's her mother's daughter in that respect!
We're thankful Lucy's been sleeping wonderfully and that yesterday she didn't throw up. She's been playful and cuddly, nice combo in my opinion.
I've been having a few bad dizzy spells, including one on Sunday morning during the message! I couldn't get up and leave because my balance was so wacky, but was feeling like I might throw up. I prayed, the Lord answered, and the bad feelings passed....guess I'll be going for my overdue blood work sooner than I had planned.
I've been reading in Esther and Job this week, plus in Revelation. Wow, eh?! I've been really encouraged, challenged, and excited (and sometimes slightly depressed~Job). Esther is like a suspense/romance novel that you just can't put down! I can't get away from this thought~
Shouldn't my time spent in God's Word be like a good book that I just can't put down every day?
I'll leave you with that thought.
BTW~Please pray that these antibiotics will help heal our baby girl quickly. Also, for the safety of Mum, Dad, and Shelby driving back from Wisconsin over the next couple days. Much appreciated! :)
