Scott, my romantic and thoughtful husband, planned an anniversary getaway for just the two of us ON our anniversary! Wow, he's so good! I truly am blessed with the best husband in the world. :) He and my Mum had been in cahoots for the caring of little Lucy. I love it! He took me to a yurt in Fundy National Park where he cooked steak and mussels on a wood stove, with S'Mores for dessert. We went for a long walk on the ocean floor where the tide goes out the farthest in the whole world. Needless to say, I suffered from back pain through the night, but it was worth it! I heard some cool animals outside our yurt, including a porcupine and an owl (Lucy can say "owl" now). In the morning, we stopped for brunch at a neat cafe in a little town and ate some tasty food, after we got some treats at the famous local bakery. We got back in just enough time to greet Lucy and for Scott to go drive the bus for his afternoon run. I spent the afternoon, on my birthday, with three of my fav girls~Lucy, Mum, and Shelb.
