Little Lucy

We are so thankful God gave us our Lucy!! We know she really belongs to Him, she's just on loan with great expectations. :) We can't imagine our life without her now, she's such a part of our growing family. I can't express how thankful I am that she is such a well-behaved and happy baby. We are fully aware that she is a little sinner, but need to remind ourselves continually because we are overcome with her adorableness...especially Scott. :) She knows how to manipulate each of us in different ways already. Yup, a little sinner indeed, but a cute one!
I am so thankful for a baby who has slept through the night since she was less than 2 weeks old, one who didn't have any trouble nursing or being weaned to only formula (though I had a moment or two of struggle with my own emotions), one who very rarely cries, who isn't fussy with all the new food she's trying, one who gives the best hugs, who has a ready smile (except at church?), who takes naps without any issues, who loves animals, and who knows to be fussy if there's a bad smell in the air. We are so thankful for a content and pleasant little girl! She brings such joy to our lives, words cannot express. She truly is a gift from God. It's amazing to see her different personality traits coming out and how she mimics Scott and I, and her friends Carter and Anneke. She's learned a few cute things from her friends, along with some funny faces from Scott and I...those were unintentional, for the most part. :)
I just had to blog about our little wonderful girl. A constant entertainment and so very loved by so many people!

Children are truly wonderful gifts from God! We have loved raising Joshua...the only child that I have ever met that LOVES to be in the nursery at church! When we are there early to help with setup, he is constantly asking to go play with the toys!! He even knows which ladies or teens that will take him there, so he grabs there hands and leads the way! Its is so funny!
I can totally relate with you Krystle... children are a privilge that we are so blessed to be able to have!
How have you been feeling by the way?

Rach~You must be getting excited eh? 5 more weeks and you'll have another wonderful blessing! I've been quite sick, but I think it's getting better...I just keep praying for strength, and no more throwing up! :)
Amy~God certainly is so good!
Jenn~ What can I say? I didn't intentionally brag... :) and I LOVE how you spell "mum", the best way. :)

:) I've always spelled it that way. I think it's an Australian thing. At least that's how all my Aussie relatives spell and pronounce it:) I'll be praying you get over your sickness completely! When are you due again?

Jenn~Ya, my Scottish family spell it that way too. :) Thanks for the prayers, they're appreciated! :) I'm due Sept 15th, so I'm about 12 weeks along now...but I was sick til almost the fifth month with Lucy, just not half as bad.
