A couple days ago, I posted some photos of my new favourite spot to read God's Word, Lucy's favourite place to be when Daddy pulls in from work, Scott's favourite place for a picnic(at this time of year), and Tartan's favourite place to watch people and animals move. Well, the perspective from said "favourite place" changed yesterday. I quickly stepped into the sun porch yesterday to take a couple photos and, just as quickly, stepped back into the house. Yesterday was a terrible day for Lucy and I, both feeling tired and sickly. I am still praising the Lord for strength and health though! So here are a couple pictures to give you an idea of what yesterday looked like. (We had to cancel our youth group Science Experiment Night, but once Lucy finally went to bed, Scott and I did get to watch a movie! Yay date! :)

Is that wreath from shoppers? I recognize it. I enjoy reading your blog. Did you seriously get snow, that is so depressing. Hopefully it is the last one :)
We cancelled our youth activity too. :(
I went ahead and started putting my spring decor up today- it's wishful thinking anyway! :)
Ya, the wreath is from Shoppers, my parents got it for us. :) Can you believe, all the snow stayed and it snowed more today!!
Leah~Sad about youth. We canceled our street evangelism today too... we really did need a time of rest, looking back. We're thankful God knows best! :)
We got snow/freezing rain here yesterday too and had to cancel our youth group as well.. soo depressing! about the snow that is.. I admit it, it WAS nice to have a break and just relax with Tim ;)
Jenn~It's really sad, having to cancel youth group, eh? But those "out of our control" moments in life can be seen as a real blessing, even if it takes a little lime to realize. :)
Wow, it seems so funny to see everyone complaining about the snow. We out here in BC (well, Nathan and I) long to see the snow!!!!! We had 2 days this past entire winter :( There has been a lot of snow in the mountains, which is absolutely breath taking...but when you grow up in Ontario and Michigan, no snow is just wrong! ;) Enjoy it for us please! Haha!
Rach~I'm the same way and love the snow!! We had SO much this winter though, and I got these new sneakers and was really enjoying wearing them, and was really looking forward to youth group and street witnessing..which this storm prohibited. See? :)
