Two of our favourite friends came to visit us on Thursday night and we were so excited! The first stretch of their journey included their whole exhaust system falling out and dragging on the ground. Nothing a nut and bolt and few bucks to the mechanic couldn't fix though. Praise the Lord! The last stretch of their six hour drive was one of the craziest snowstorms they've driven through, they said. You know the kind where the snow is coming directly at you and it's just mesmerizing, eh? Well, they had their heads out the windows and suddenly a transport truck was so close to the driver side, Chris could have licked it! Haha. The Lord protected them and brought them to us safely though, so no worries!

We had a wonderful time together, getting caught up and laughing lots. They brought us free clothes from Mark's that had been donated to them. What a blessing, the Lord's provision! Scott also got two pairs of boots and some slippers. He was thrilled! It was midnight when we headed to bed. We were all exhausted since we all had been up late the night before as well. Lucy had her little 10 hour flu and on Thursday morning we had our ultrasound. So exciting! (I think it's a boy...sometimes)

My brother, Shawn, ended up babysitting Lucy for 15-20 minutes because Mum had to go to work. I was impressed. They had a great time reading books. After Scott came back from work, he headed to the Personal Evangelism clinic where Glen Weeks spoke. I wanted to go so bad, but stayed home with Lucy. Actually, Mum and Shawn came over for a little while and entertained Lucy so I could rest. She showed off her new talent~going from crawling position to sitting position, and back again. All that to say, when Thursday midnight came, we were ready for bed!
